 *** Exclusive News *** We are extremely excited to announce that the amazing @shopivyjoan will be presenting a workshop with us at The Joy Of Spring For the first time ever since publishing the guide to French Brocanting ‘The Companion’ Ivy Joan is launching her first event - with us!  ‘Let’s talk Brocante’ is an opportunity to come and listen to Hayley Peters talk about her French brocanting adventures. A talk with Q&A and some valuable information and tools that will help you on your journey to brocanting yourself. Hayley will discuss which French Brocantes to visit, give top tips on how to find local car boot sales and antique fairs and even share which regions are best to search out particular pieces. As well as the glamorous side of brocanting, Hayley will touch on the informative pieces that can really make your trip run smoothly, from hotels, to customs, tolls to toilet stops if there’s something that can help with your trip Hayley will try to cover it. The afternoon will end with a Q&A session where you’ll be able to ask Hayley any questions you have to help you start your adventures. All participants will receive an Ivy Joan goody bag which will include: - An exclusive Little Brocante Bag - An Ivy Joan Magazine - A mapped guide to some top Brocantes in France - A useful phrase guide to help with adventures - An Ivy Joan candle   The 'Let’s Talk Brocante' workshop will be held within our event on May 20th 2023 at Middleton Hall Gardens. The price of the ticket covers your entrance to the ‘Let’s talk Brocante’ event only and a ticket will be needed in advance for the ‘Joy Event’ tickets to the event - they are currently available HERE. There's plenty of planning happening behind the scenes and our stallholders are booking on as we speak. Tickets have just gone live and our usual offering of exculsive Early Bird Entry is now in place, so grab yours whilst you can. We have made our donation of 20% of the ticket sales to @homeless_link - hopefully making a small difference to others this Christmas time too. We are delighted to announce that we will be back in 2023 with a totally magical new venue - we can’t wait to share more with you very soon, but for now please keep May 20th and September 23rd free. We are overwhelmed with ticket sales and the support you have given us and the small businesses exhibiting with us. This year, more than ever, means so much and will make a difference to many. We have SOLD OUT of entrance tickets for 12pm, we have a handful left for the 2pm entry (available on our website) Ticket price includes 20% donation to @homeless_linkcharity, a mulled wine & mince pie in our magical cellar bar, live music and exclusive shopping with 20 fantastic stallholders 🤍 There is also fired pizza and posh coffee (with tipples!) available to purchase - allowing you to make a real day of it with lunch too. Embrace the festive season, spend a few hours with us - chatting with friends, shopping, relaxing and simply allowing a little time for yourself before the craziness of Christmas commences. December 10th, 12pm-4pm. Ticket entry only - (a few left for our 2pm entry time, available on our website) Ticket price includes a mulled wine, mince pie, live music, shopping with gorgeous stallholders and 20% of all ticket profit is being donated to @homeless_link charity. We have some amazing stallholders to shop with, selling a mix of Brocante treasures, home decor and accessories, artwork, cake, stocking fillers and table decorations, fresh flowers/foliage and so much more. Pizza and posh coffee to buy (with a tipple of Baileys.) All in the stunning location of Sir John Moore school in Appleby Magna. Start your festive build up with us by taking a few hours with friends to shop, chat and enjoy our intimate, signature Joy atmosphere - we would love to see you there. |
